Repair Your Tipi

To start: layout the tipi and make a repair map so you can find areas that need repair later.

Duct tape is a good short term fix. Put duct tape on both sides of a rip or hole. Additional layers may be added. A more traditional fix is to sew on a patch. You can do this with almost any machine; but industrial machines work best.

Mildewed areas need to have the whole mildewed  area replaced.

Hand stitching is another option, use Koban thread, or a strong polyester cotton thread. Stitch in an "X" pattern over the rip.

You can also glue on a patch using Marine Goop.
