Proper care is important for your camper's comfort and for the life of your tipi. The best protection against mildew is cleanliness.  Avoid tipi sites that are muddy or wet.  Sunny sites allow for fast drying, and retard mildew growth. Mildew hates smoke and sun; but loves dirt. Wash or brush off dirt where possible.

Ensure that canvas is completely dry. Repair all tears and holes. Fold your tipi properly to facilitate pitching. Store in a dry animal proof place. Use clean clear plastic leaf bag for packaging.  (roughtotes also work well).
